- Attention, follow up, care, understanding, bereavement Councillors.
- Name change-the word hospice filled my wife (and others) with complete fear and she did not want anything to do with you.
A shame I feel.
All the service and attention that I got was of first class both by the helpers and nursing staff. Couldn't find need of improvement.
Thanking you.
My dad dealt with Cathy Freeman after being diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Cathy was fantastic, both as a support for dad doing what was clearly what was a very difficult time, but also as a support for mum, my brother and I.
She was very compassionate, honest and supportive. We couldn't have asked for anything more.
First class care.
Food good
Concern that reaction time to requests could be quicker.
I was able to talk things through with my nurse and if anything was really troubling me I could see the Dr by having someone to talk to in confidence that reassured me. I also took advantage of the music therapy with Jayne which again also helped. Being with other people who was also is a similar situation as myself helped as I could feel free with my emotion and nobody would worry about.
Sympathy and understanding.
Very effective pain relief especially in last 2 weeks.
Made rest of family also feel cared for.
Care is first class.
Prompt attention when required.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Improved would be a bonus.
Thank you.
